Adventure Weekend – Father/Son Campout is a 3-day, 2-night weekend camping event. This event is hosted by the Louisiana Royal Rangers. The Adventure Weekend activities are geared toward boys between the ages of 8 – 17 years old (3^rd – 12^th grade). Fathers and sons are encouraged to attend together, or a boy may participate with a sponsor.

Adventure Weekend has a new and exciting theme each year that rotates every five years. Themes used in the past include Military, North American Game Hunt, Medieval Times, Olympics, and Sleuth/Detective Training. Every Adventure Weekend has various activities based on that year’s theme, which are enjoyed by all.

The purpose of the event is for fathers and sons to form life-long memories together and grow closer to Christ.
